Still flying and taking pictures on the weekend...  Got a new lens which is a nice piece of glass, let me tell you...  Canon makes some really good products...  Finally exploring a lot more of the local Arizona area (within 2 hours of Phoenix)...  had my next door neighbor actually go with me on a few to assist since she was bored...  somehow we didn't get knocked off that cliff...  which is good...  As always, critiques are the only way I get any better, so keep those comments coming!

Wow, it's been awhile since I actually wrote a journal on here...  So what's new since last time?  Hmmm...  a few pictures...  and a solo in the F-16...  that's about it.  As always, I'll insert my shameless plug for comments/critiques of any of my photos here...  It's hard to get better if you don't get any feedback from anyone who actually knows what they're doing or even those who just want to say something about the picture...  OK, rant over... So yeah, they aren't joking when they say Phoenix is over 100 degrees everyday...  wow... scorching...  it's been 105 plus everyday since I arrived on Sunday...  At least it's a dry heat...  Humidity would be killer if it was this hot... In other, better news, Phoenix is civilization...  So I've left the little podunk Mississippi towns behind, thank goodness...  As an added bonus, there seems to be one of every major store and restaurant within 5 blocks of my apartment... No new pictures yet, but hopefully I'll be scouting out some locations in the desert here in a little while...  Maybe I should call more of these pics photojournalism, cau
